Model & actor Nikita Sachdev, the newest success story of the digital portal, is based in Singapore. Infact, she came across the platform when she was vacationing in America. She created a profile on F The Couch & applied for Jazzy B’s music video.
To her surprise m, very soon she got a call from team FTC about being selected. She flew down to India with this confirmed opportunity and shot in Chandigarh.
“Since I am based abroad, the biggest challenge is to be here in Mumbai to struggle for a role, like a lot of talents here do. For me, it would mean investing a lot of time & money without any surety of getting an opportunity. But with F The Couch, I flew down only when I was absolutely sure that I had been shortlisted,” said Nikita.
Extremely thrilled with the success of Jazzy B’s video, Londono Patola Reloaded, Nikita adds that being a Punjabi, the video was one straight out of her dreams.
“My family is thrilled to see me in Punjabi music video… With this break through FTC I am also looking forward to her acting opportunities in Punjabi films… being a part of regional cinema would be as enriching as being in the mainstream for me.”
